Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has named the starting team for the Gor Mahia game
New signings Omar Boraafya and Elijah Mwanzia have been named in the match day squad for the game against Gor Mahia on Saturday 23rd June at Afraha Stadium. The two, who recently linked up with the team will however start from the bench.
Boraafya, the 2013 KPL U19 tournament’s top scorer with Bandari FC along with Mwanzia, were impressive in the week’s training and head coach Dunstan Nayudo rewarded them with slots in the 18 – man team.
There is however no place in the team for defender Eugene Ochieng, who had been named in the starting team for the SportPesa Shield match against Kakamega Homeboyz, which didn’t get underway after Homeboyz failed to show up.
