Brian returns, Njuguna starts in team to face Tusker

Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has named the team that will be doing duty against Tusker in the Match Day 18 clash at the Ruaraka Stadium on Sunday 26th January.

After a four-match absence, defender Brian Birgen is back in the team and gets to start on the right flank, replacing Byron Odiaga, who has been named on the bench.

Joint top scorer Oscar Wamalwa is out of the game on suspension, which sees Ibrahim Shambi handed a start after coming on to provide an assist in the last match.

John Njuguna is also handed a start after being benched in the last match; he takes up the slot occupied by Clinton Omondi, who misses the game.

Odhiambo in goal

Jacktone Odhiambo is set to get another run between the posts and he will be guarded by the ever present Boniface Andayi and Bonaventure Muchika, who will be facing his immediate former team.

Enosh Ochieng, who is on seven goals so far, jointly with Oscar Wamalwa, will be charged with leading the goal hunt.

Boniface Okinyi will don the armband and marshal the team from midfield, shielding the defence as John Kago provided the defence-attack link.
