The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) has set a new date for the postponed game against Gor Mahia, which was supposed to be played in the 15th round of matches – on Sunday 13th May at Afraha Stadium.
The clash will now be staged on Saturday 23rd June at the Afraha Stadium, starting 3pm, as per the new fixture schedules released by the Kenyan Premier League.
The match was called off to allow Gor Mahia take part in a promotional game against English second tier side Hull City at the Kasarani Stadium, and meant Ulinzi Stars featured in just three matches in the month.
The match is the only unplayed game for Ulinzi Stars in the first half of the season, the team having managed eight wins from the 16 played, four draws and as many losses.
Meanwhile, the team continues with preparations for the SportPesa Shield opener against Transmillan FC, which is scheduled for Saturday 2nd June at Kenyatta Stadium in Kitale.
The match will be the second of a double header, starting at 3.15pm with the first match pitting Transfoc FC against Eldoret Youth scheduled for 1pm.
