Double change in team to face Vihiga

Cylus Shitote takes on Vihiga United’s Michael Isabwa in a past match

Ulinzi Stars is all set for the clash against Vihiga United in the SportPesa Shield and head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has picked his team, making two changes from the side that saw off Vihiga United in last week’s game at the same venue.

The Sunday 22nd July game will see goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo return to goal, replacing skipper James Saruni who developed a tooth problem ahead of the clash and had to pull out of the team.

With Otieno handed a start, Jacktone Odhiambo will be the available replacement, after missing the last match.

Swap places

Elvis Nandwa and Elijah Mwanzia will swap places with Nandwa, who started the previous match on the bench, getting a start in this one.

George Omondi misses from the match day squad for the first time since joining Ulinzi Stars, as he is sidelined with injury. Hamisi Abdalla has been included in the team in his absence and will start from the bench,

Omar Boraafya and Mark Bikokwa are also sidelined with injury but Hassan Mohamed and Omar Mbongi are named in the starting team despite having earlier been major doubts.
