Enosh Ochieng and Hamisi Abdalla had a great impact in the win over Chemelil Sugar after earning rare starts as Ulinzi Stars returned to winning ways with a 2 – 0 victory over the Millers at Chemelil Complex and head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has praised their contribution in the clash.
Both were earning just their second league starts of the season – Enosh having started against Zoo FC on the opening day and Hamisi against Tusker FC in June and from the coach’s review, there’s a chance the two may keep their places in the midweek game against Nakumatt FC.
Hamisi was slotted in at right back, taking up George Omondi’s place with the latter redeployed at center back while Enosh replaced Cliff Kasuti in the starting team and repaid the coach’s faith with an assist for the first goal before chipping in with the second, attracting praise from the coach, who lauded his creativity.
“They were very outstanding; remember we gave Hamisi the second half of the game against Rangers and he did well. He went on to put in a good show against Chemelil too and if he keeps up that way, I am sure he will get more games. Here we reward hard work.
“Enosh is a top class player but he has had troubles with injury this season. He is very creative and at a time like this when we need goals, he comes in very handy. He had a hand in both goals at Chemelil and that points to his impact in the team. As long as he gives us goals, he will keep his place,” The Don pointed out.
The goal against the Millers was Enosh’s second of the season. Both his goals have come on his starts.
