Enosh starts, Rio returns in team to play Sofapaka

Hassan Mohamed will be starting in the game against Sofapaka after missing the opening three matches of the 2018/19 seasonzi Stars

Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has made a number of changes to the team for the visit of Sofapaka on Saturday 29th December at Afraha Stadium, handing a first start to Enosh Ochieng, while defender Hassan Rio Mohamed returns after missing the opening three matches.

Ibrahim Shambi and Omar Mbongi are off on compassionate leave while Brian Birgen, Omar Boraafya and Mark Barasa Bikokwa are still out injured.

Shitote starts

Cylus Shitote will be back plying the right side of defence in Birgen’s absence while skipper James Saruni gets to start his fourth straight match with Timothy Odhiambo his understudy.

John Kago and John Njuguna, who was recently called up to the Kenya U20 national team earn first starts of the season with Elijah Mwanzia, Elvis Nandwa and Churchill Muloma named on the bench alongside Robert Oyuyo and Sunday Mwahila.
