James Saruni in action in a past game against Vihiga United. He will be back in the team for the game against Tusker
Head coach Dunstan The Don Nyaudo has named the team for the game against Tusker on Thursday 7th May at Ruaraka Stadium, starting 3pm, with four changes made from the side that fell 1 – 2 to Sofapaka in the last league match.
The Don starts life without Brian Birgen on the right side of defence and has handed the task to the versatile Abdalla Hamisi who did well against Transmillan in the SportPesa Shield the last time out.
Hamisi played in a defence line with Geoffrey Kokoyo, Omar Mbongi and George Omondi but against Tusker he will have only Omondi in the defence line, with Oliver Ruto and Hassan Mohamed returning to the starting team after being rested against Transmillan FC.
James Saruni returns after playing understudy to Jacktone Odhiambo in the last five matches and he will don the armband as he takes his place in goal.
Enosh Ochieng earns a start, replacing Michael Otieno, while Daniel Waweru who missed the Wazito and Sofapaka matches, returns to take his place in midfield.
Geoffrey Kokoyo is named on the bench as well as Mark Bikokwa, with the two getting back to the team after missing the first leg while Oscar Wamalwa who limped off the win over Transmillan misses from the team as Masita Masuta and Elvis Nandwa earn starts.
