The final squad list for the first leg of the 2019/20 season has been released, with five new players making the cut as seven leave for various reasons. Among the new players in the team, is defender Quintine Indeche, who was a member of the Ulinzi Stars Youth team in 2016.
Indeche is currently finishing up his time at the Recruits Training School in Eldoret and will join the team in the course of the month. Clinton Aguero Omondi is also on the list, and should be getting his debut this season, having been signed from Sony Sugar before heading straight to military training.
Defender Byron Odiaga has also been confirmed in the final list and will be considered a worthy replacement for assistant captain Hassan Mohamed, who left earlier for military duty.
Masita Masuta, who featured for one season, in 2018, before leaving for military training, is also set to rejoin the team.
Also confirmed for the season are Cyril Nasiali and Edgar Mukolwe, who were scouted during the Chief of Defence Forces Cup in July and they join the earlier confirmed Kelvin Thairu in the list.
Apart from Hassan Mohamed, the other players out for the first leg are Oliver Ruto, Churchill Muloma, Hamisi Abdalla, Justin Onwonga and Vincent Ochieng while Sunday Mwahila has been released after a season with the team.
