As Ulinzi Stars prepare for the ninth match of the season, this Sunday 10 November, against Bandari FC at the Afraha Stadium, head coach Benjamin Nyangweso will have mixed injury news to deal with.
The good news ahead of the game is that midfielder Boniface Okinyi, who has missed the last two matches with a knee injury is back and he will be joined by defender George Omondi. The two have trained well in the week, according to Team Doctor John Imboywa.
They should be available for selection on Sunday, should head coach Nyangweso find them fit enough to fit in his plans for the match.
Out of Bandari game
Meanwhile, Enosh Ochieng remains out as he recovers from a groin injury and though he has started light training, the doctor’s report indicates he will still need some time off action to recover. To that extent he may be out for two more weeks.
Omar Mbongi, with a thigh injury, is also out of this game and could stay off action for two more weeks while skipper James Saruni (ankle) and defender Cyril Nasiali (knee) are currently doing light training as they continue with their recoveries.
The team goes to the game placed eighth on the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) table with 13 points.
