Kago starts as coach names team to face Thika

John Kago will get his first start of the season when Ulinzi Stars plays host to Thika United in the Sunday 15th April Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash at the Afraha Stadium.

Kago had a great impact when he came off the bench in the clash against Bandari FC the last time out and has been picked for a start in what also passes as a move by head coach Dunstan Nyaudo to rest Churchill Muloma, who has started in each of the last 10 matches.

Muloma will take a place among the subs for the game as Kago partners Bernard Ongoma in central midfield.

Ruto, Omondi

Defenders Oliver Ruto and George Omondi will for the 11th straight match start while Masita Masuta, who came from the bench to score against Bandari has been named in the starting team, replacing Ibrahim Shambi as the lead striker.

Enosh Ochieng will be rested as well, starting on the bench as Michael Otieno gets a place in the first 11.
