Cliff Kasuti will be making a start when the team faces Wazito FC in the 15th match of the 2018 campaign
After being used as impact players in the recent matches, forwards Cliff Kasuti and Oscar Wamalwa will be making starts when Ulinzi Stars takes on Wazito FC in the 15th match of the season on Saturday 19th May at Ruaraka Stadium.
For the match scheduled to start at 3pm, head coach Dunstan The Don Nyaudo has opted to start Masita Masuta on the bench, replacing him with Wamalwa and with Daniel Waweru still weak after a bacterial infection earlier in the week, a midfield reorganization sees Kasuti earn a start.
The two will be the only changes in the starting team from the one that did duty for the last three straight games, while on the bench there will as well be a number of changes, with Boniface Andayi getting his first call to the 18 – man team, taking up Benson Sande’s place after the defender also failed to recover in time from a bout of malaria.
Enosh Ochieng returns to the squad, and starts from the bench while goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo misses out as he also recovers from malaria.
Jacktone Odhiambo, who has kept straight clean sheets in the last two matches start in goal and he will have defensive cover from Brian Birgen, field captain Hassan Mohamed and the always present Oliver Ruto and George Odhiambo.
Bernard Ongoma, who has been spectacular in recent matches keeps his place as the defensive shield in midfield while John Kago will be the anchorman, and hoping to build on the superb display and goal against Nzoia.
Elvis Nandwa earns his place in the starting team after capping another great show with a goal against Nzoia and he will be on the charge for his fourth strike of the season, playing support to Wamalwa, who has netted twice already.
The Don will as well be counting on the increasingly dangerous runs and crosses from Michael Otieno as he will be deployed in the flanks, playing interchangeably with Kasuti.
