The team lines up for a photo ahead of the Kakamega Homeboyz game on Saturday 10th March
Lead scorer Masita Masuta will get the chance to extend his tally when Ulinzi Stars faces Posta Rangers in the Sunday 18th March Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash at Afraha Stadium as he has been named in the starting team, having started from the bench in the previous game.
The striker came off the bench to score his third goal of the season and second in two matches when he headed home the late winner against Kakamega Homeboyz and his reward is a starting berth as he has been picked by head coach Dunstan Nyaudo to lead the attack.
Boni is back
Midfielder Boniface Onyango also returns to the team after missing the last four matches and goes straight to the starting team, expected to screen the defence. He takes up Bernard Ongoma’s place in the starting team, with the latter named on the bench.
Apart from Ongoma, the other starter in the Homeboyz game named on the bench is midfielder Elvis Nandwa.
Skipper James Saruni keeps his place in goal for the third straight game and will be hoping for a third straight clean sheet and his assistant Hassan Rio Mohamed makes it to the starting team as well, after recovering from an injury scare in the Homeboyz game.

On the bench, Cylus Shitote and John Kago have been replaced by Hamisi Abdalla and Michael Otieno respectively while Kelvin Amwayi also misses the match.
The team has not lost at home this season and will be keen to keep it that way.
