Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso will have more options to choose from when he sends out his charges for the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Round 10 match against Kariobangi Sharks on Thursday 21st November, with four players coming back from injury.
Skipper James Saruni is back to full training, as are Enosh Ochieng, Omar Mbongi and Cyril Nasiali.
Goalkeeper Saruni and defender Nasiali have not played this season as they nursed ankle injuries while Enosh, who has scored thrice already this season missed the last two matches with a groin injury.
Omar Mbongi has been out of the last four matches with a hip problem and his return gives Nyangweso more options on the left side of defence, where Harun Mwale has done so well. Mbongi can as well operate comfortably in central defence and defensive midfield.
At coach’s disposal
Team doctor John Imboywa confirmed the four have been part of training for the past few days and have shown no signs of struggling and should be at the coach’s disposal, should he feel they fit in his plans for the match.
The only player still out injured, is midfielder Ibrahim Shambi, who limped off in the second minute of the win over Bandari FC in our last match.
Doctor Imboywa confirms that the midfielder has a muscular spasm in his foot but he is recovering well and is expected to resume training after one week.
