Omar Mbongi is back in the team for the Sunday 7th October game against Mathare United after staying out with injury since scoring in the 3 – 0 win over Nakumatt at the close of August.
Mbongi will be replacing Mohamed Hassan in the starting team and in central defence he will partner Boniface Andayi, who has impressed since getting his debut in the SportPesa Shield game against Riverplate early in September.
Elijah Mwanzia will also be starting against the team he aided avoid relegation last year and he will be at the apex of a forward line that has another former Mathatre United man, Elvis Nandwa, who is also the team’s leading scorer with 12 league goals.
For the second straight game, Omar Boraafya will be starting while Oscar Wamalwa, who has also been out with a hamstring injury returns but takes up his place on the bench alongside John Kago, who is replaced in the team by Churchill Muloma.
