No change in starting team for Mount Kenya clash

Team to play Mount Kenya United has been named, with no changes in the starting line up

Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has picked his team to do duty in the ninth match of the season; the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) game against Mount Kenya United at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani on Wednesday 23rd January starting 3pm.

There is no change in the starting team, with The Don keeping faith with the side that faced Tusker FC in the last match, playing to a barren draw at home.

Timothy in goal

Timothy Odhiambo keeps his place in goal and will have the same backline marshaled by Omar Mbongi, who takes the armband from Oliver Ruto as he partners Bonventure Muchika in central defence for the third straight match.

Top scorer Enosh Ochieng will also be starting, and he expects to add to his five goals scored so far and he will have John Njuguna and Elvis Nandwa for company upfront while Boniface Onyango handles the defensive duties in midfield.

The only change in the squad comes on the bench as Sunday Mwahila replaces Mark Bikokwa.

Starting XI: Timothy Odhiambo (GK), Brian Birgen, Oliver Ruto, Omar Mbongi, Paul Muchika, Boniface Onyango, Daniel Waweru, Churchill Muloma, Enosh Ochieng, Elvis Nandwa, John Njuguna.

Subs: James Saruni (GK), Hamisi Abdalla, Harun Mwale, Bernard Ongoma, Elijah Mwanzia, Sunday Mwahila, Ezekiel Okare.
