Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo issues instructions during a previous match. He is set to complete the June transfer activity on Monday 18th June, 2018
At the close of Monday 18th June, head coach Dunstan Nyaudo will be through with his transfer business, and has called for a one day trial on the same day at Afraha Stadium, targeting three forward players to beef up the team for the short and long term.
The coach is looking to pick midfielders and strikers and the exercise will be open for all players in the targeted playing positions but they have to be 22 years of age or below. The players will be subjected to two sessions on the day, in the morning and afternoon.
The morning session will commence at 0900hrs then the second session will be on as from 1500hrs.
“I am targeting three offensive players. Midfielders and strikers are encouraged to come and try out. What we are looking at in this window, is getting players for the second leg, and also to get some for the future because we will have a very short period of rest before next season so we have to plan well now.
“At the end of today (Monday 18th June) I will have the complete list of transfers,” the coach stated.
Apart from the players who stand a chance to be picked from the one day trial, the coach is also expected to add a few players from within the military to the team, as well as a few civilians in a bid to boost the team after a fairly good run in the first leg.
So far, three players from within the Military have been confirmed – defender Geoffrey Kokoyo, midfielder Omar Boraafya and striker Mark Bikokwa.
