Hassan Mohamed in action against Kariobangi Sharks in the league clash at Camp Toyoyo on Saturday 31st March. Ulinzi Stars will be up against Sharks in the SportPesa Shield semi final on Sunday 23rd September at Kasarani
The Moi International Sports Center (MISC) Kasarani will play host to the semi final of the SportPesa Shield where Ulinzi Stars will be facing off with Kariobangi Sharks in a repeat of the 2016 semi final.
The match was initially set for Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, but the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has communicated the change, which also comes with a change in timings for the game.
The Don’s wish
The match has since been drafted to kick off at 1pm on Sunday 23rd September from the initial 2pm kickoff.
The change would set in well with head coach Dunstan Nyaudo, who had earlier declared his wish to have the clash staged at the very venue picked.
The match will be the first on the day with Kasarani set to host two matches, the first being the semi final pitting holders AFC Leopards against Sofapaka, that set to start at 3.15pm.
The Don will be seeking to guide the team to the final, and even go a step better after the loss to Tusker FC in the 2016 final.
