Three changes in team to face KCB

The team to face KCB FC in the second round of KPL has been picked, with three changes made after the loss to Vihiga United

The team to face KCB in the Sunday 16th December Week 2 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash at Afraha Stadium has been named with head coach Dunstan Nyaudo making three changes as he looks to steer the side to winning ways following a losing starts to the season.

Omar Mbongi, and Bernard Ongoma are both back in the team after missing the opening game, and will be starting, replacing Robert Oyuyo and Churchill Muloma respectively, while Elijah Mwanzia starts upfront with The Don unable to call on the injured Omar Boraafya.

Shambi has recovered

Ibrahim Shambi has recovered from a cut sustained in the Vihiga United game and start in midfield while John Kago, a second half sub in the Vihiga United loss, starts on the bench, along with Hamisi Abdalla and John Njuguna, who were also introduced in the second half.

James Saruni will once again lead the team out with his backline staying the same save for the inclusion of Mbongi.

Starting XI: James Saruni, Shitote Cylus, Oliver Ruto, Boniface Andayi, Omar Mbongi, Bernard Ongoma, Ibrahim Shambi, Daniel Waweru, Elvis Nandwa, Elijah Mwanzia, Ezekiel Okare.
