Preparations are on for the second half of the season and after resuming for training on Sunday 29th December, head coach Benjamin Nyangweso will have three new players to reinforce the team.
Masita Masuta, Clinton Aguero Omondi and Quintine Indeche, all who graduated from the Recruits Training School (RTS) in September will be part of the squad for the second leg.
The three reported for training as the team resumed though head coach Nyangweso may opt not to use them for the coming match, against Posta Rangers on Sunday 5th January.
“They trained with their mates yesterday (Sunday 29th) and they seem determined and have the right attitude. They bring on board the reinforcement we need as a team and I am happy to have them. We are still assessing the different departments ahead of the crucial second leg but I believe we will have the right players for the job,” the coach pointed out.
The three had already been listed for the first leg, and Omondi went on to feature as a second half substitute in the 0-0 draw with Western Stima at the Mumias Sports Complex.
While Indeche was a member of the Ulinzi Stars U20 team that won the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) U20 tournament in April 2016, Masuta returns after featuring for the team (as a civilian) in the 2018 campaign, scoring seven goals.
