Boniface Okinyi has been ruled out of the game against Nzoia Sugar set for Monday 6th May, with injury
Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso will have to do without three key players on Monday 6th May when he sends out his troops to take on Nzoia Sugar in the 28th round of matches in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
From the game against Bandari FC on Thursday 2nd May in Mombasa, midfielders Boniface Okinyi and Ibrahim Shambi picked injuries, and will join Daniel Waweru in the treatment room.
Okinyi picked a groin injury in the Bandari game and had to be pulled out with his place taken up by Bernard Ongoma. Shambi managed to see off the game but he had a recurrence of a thigh strain after the match and Doctor John Imboywa has confirmed this match comes too soon for them.
“They are still under observation but they cannot make the squad for tomorrow,” he said.
Meanwhile, Waweru is still out with an ankle injury he picked during the Western Stima game in Kisumu in April.
He aggravated the injury in training ahead of the Bandari game.
