Players warm up just before the game against Posta Rangers at Afraha Stadium. The team will be up against Tusker in a Saturday 24th March friendly
With Kenyan Premier League action taking a break this weekend, head coach Dunstan Nyaudo is out to keep his charges not just busy, but in top shape ahead of the next game, and a friendly match against Tusker FC has been lined up.
The team will be facing the former league champions in a friendly match on Saturday 24th March at Ruaraka Stadium, starting 9am.
The coach says testing the team against one of the finest teams in the league – Tusker – will play a key role in keeping the players on toes ahead of a tough game, against Kariobangi Sharks, which is scheduled for 31st March.
“Tusker is one of the ideal teams you’d want to test your players with at any given point. They hold the ball a lot and they are tough with their formations. We have a tough game coming up and as preparation for it, we want to use this friendly match to complement our training sessions.
“I believe we will have massive gains from it and we are also planning for more in the coming week,” he said.
The team had a morning training session on Friday 23rd March.
