Vincent Ochieng has been enlisted for the second leg by head coach Benjamin Nyangweso
As curtains drew for the midseason transfer window on Monday 8th April, head coach Benjamin Nyangweso made two late signings, adding to the team offensive players in a bid to better the team’s fortunes after a tough season that sees the team placed 12th on the log.
Midfielders Vincent Ochieng and Moses Mwangi are included in the team, both of them having been in training with the side for a while now. Having earlier played for the Ulinzi Stars U20 team, the duo will not find it hard to settle in.
The two were part of the youth side that clinched the KPL U20 title in April 2016 and while Vincent stayed on, and went on to military training, Mwangi took a different route and will be coming back home after sojourns with Sony Sugar and Kariobangi Sharks, his immediate former work station.
“Our attacking front needed some reinforcement and that is why we have brought in these two players. I believe we will be stronger with the two on board.
“Now the challenge is on them to show us what they can do. They have the chance and I wish them the best,” the coach said of the two.
