Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso will have more options available for his selection as he prepares the team for the midweek clash against Chemelil Sugar set for Wednesday 11th December at the Muhoroni Stadium.
Midfielders Omar Boraafya and Ibrahim Shambi are both available after staying out with injury and they participated well in training on Sunday.
Boraafya missed the game against Gor Mahia in the team’s last outing as he had a back injury, sustained in the draw with Nzoia Sugar earlier on. Meanwhile, Shambi has recovered from a foot injury he sustained in the opening minute of the Bandari game.
While nursing the injury, Shambi suffered another setback, as he sustained a groin injury but after close watch and attention Team Doctor John Imboywa confirms he will be available for selection should he fit in the coach’s plans.
Meanwhile, head coach Nyangweso has confirmed midfielder Samuel Mwangi will not be available for the match, as he is handling a family issue and has been granted compassionate leave.
Save for Mwangi, and the duo at the CECAFA Senior Challenge – Timothy Odhiambo and Oscar Wamalwa – all the other players are available for selection and were part of training on Sunday.
