Illness rules trio out as squad for Wazito game is picked

Head coach Dunstan The Don Nyaudo will be forced to rejig his team for the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) game against Wazito FC set for Saturday 19th May at Ruaraka with three members ruled out with injury.

Midfielders Daniel Waweru and Boniface Onyango as well as defender Benson Sande have been struck off the squad list for the game, with Waweru off with a bacterial infection while Sande and Onyango are still weak after recovering from bouts of malaria.


It will be the first time Sande misses from the match day squad this season and his place is taken up by Mutambi Boniface Andayi, who gets to the squad for the first time this season.

Enosh Ochieng returns to the squad after missing the trip to Bungoma the last time out.

The team will be seeking a sixth straight unbeaten outing and a fourth straight win in the game.

The last three matches have seen the team register wins over Nakumatt (3-2), Chemelil Sugar (2 – 0) and Nzoia Sugar (2 – 0).
