Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has named his team that will do duty against Posta Rangers in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Match Day 15 clash on Sunday 5th January at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
Byron Odiaga will get his first appearance in the squad for the season, and gets to start in the right back position, with Brian Birgen out with a knee injury sustained in training ahead of the game.
Oscar Wamalwa, Enosh Ochieng and John Njuguna, all who scored in the win over Zoo FC in the last match, have been handed starting berths while Jackton Odhiambo keeps his place in goal for the fourth straight match.
Second clean sheet
Goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo is still out injured and Jackton will be aiming at his second clean sheets after keeping one in the Zoo FC clash. Skipper James Saruni will play Jackton’s understudy once again and as he starts on the bench, Bernard Ongoma will once again don the armband.
Bonaventure Muchika is back in the starting team, having limped off the win over Zoo FC at the close of 2019 but George Omondi, who was also injured in the game, misses completely from the squad.
Edgar Mukolwe had a good showing on his debut, after coming on as a second half sub in the last game and here he will be starting from the bench, along with Omar Boraafya, who returns from injury.
