Boniface Okinyi has been ruled out of the game against Kakamega Homeboyz set for Sunday 27th January
Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo will be forced to plan for the Sunday 27th January game against Kakamega Homeboyz without Boniface Okinyi with the midfielder ruled out after picking a bacterial infection in the throat ahead of the final training session.
Okinyi, who has featured in each of the last three matches joins defender Boniface Andayi on the sidelines with the center back yet to recover from a bout of malaria.
The two are on medication and Team Doctor John Imboywa has termed them unavailable for the game while Omar Boraafya is also ruled out as he continues recovering from a thigh strain suffered after the opening game of the season.
The good news though, for The Don is that midfielder Ibrahim Shambi is back to full fitness, after spending some time out with a knee injury and will be available for selection in the Sunday clash at Afraha Stadium.
The team heads to the game straight from a 1 – 1 draw with Mount Kenya United on Wednesday 23rd January.
