Goalkeeper Jacktone Odhiambo will be in head coach Dunstan Nyaudo’s plans despite being suspended for the Wazito game
Goalkeeper Jacktone Odhiambo will be suspended for the team’s next match, against Wazito FC on Sunday 16th September as he is on a red card picked in the last league match, a home game against Nakumatt FC.
While the keeper is ineligible to play, head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has noted that he will still play a crucial role in the team’s preparations for the game which will be staged at the Kericho Green Stadium starting 2pm on the day.
Experience and knowledge
With Jacktone having taken up the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Goalkeeper Training Coaching Courses, The Don says it will be a blow not to have him in the team but looks to reap from his experience and knowledge in training his mates, with his choices now limited to skipper James Saruni and Timothy Odhiambo.
“Jackton is suspended, which is a blow to us because at this point of the season you want to have all your options available.
“Though he is suspended, we will still have him in the team because I want to use his experience as the goalkeeper trainer in the week. He is thus part of my plans for the coming game,” the coach stated.
The team resumed training on Monday 10th September after taking a week off in line with the international break.
