Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has revealed that the team will be heading to Mombasa for preseason at the end of October
Ulinzi Stars will start preparations for the 2018/19 season in November with a three – week preseason camp in Mombasa, head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has confirmed, while noting that the team will be gunning for a better campaign after a fourth place fifnish in the 2018 campaign.
The coach revealed that the team will assemble on October 31st in Nakuru, in time for preseason as he looks to condition his charges well in time for the new season which commences on 8th December.
“We want to do better than last season; that is very obvious and it is the only way we can say we are on the right track. This calls for good preparations and we will be starting that on 1st November in Mombasa,” he said.
The coach firther revealed all the new players he intends to introduce to the team to strengthen it have been enlisted and will be with the team in preseason.
He was however tight – lipped on who the team will have on board as he looks to strengthen a few areas observed in the past season.
“We have a few players coming on board; all of them are good young players, some with premier league experience and some without. They will also be with us in preseason,” he added.
