Team wraps up training on a high

Masita Masuta in action during the friendly match against Nakuru AllStars on Thursday 12th July

Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo and his charges completed their training regime on a high ahead of the game against Vihiga United on Sunday 15th July, with a second win in a friendly match against Vegpro FC in Naivasha on Friday.

Ulinzi Stars picked a 4 – 0 win, to add on to an earlier 7 – 1 win over second tier side Nakuru AllStars in another training match played on Thursday 12th July at the Nakuru Athletics Club.

What would massively elate the coach after the two matches, is the fact that his strikers found their scoring boots in the two matches and he can hope for a translation of the same in the game at Mumias Sports Complex.

In the win over Vegpro, Mark Bikokwa, Enosh Ochieng, Cliff Kasuti and Harun Mwale all got to the score sheet while in the earlier game, against AllStars, new signing Elijah Mwanzia netted twice to add on goals from Masita Masuta, Cliff Kasuti, Churchill Muloma, Enosh and Oscar Wamalwa.

The team will leave for Mumias on Saturday 14th July ahead of the game, which will be the first of two straight matches against Vihiga United, the second one, on Sunday 22nd July being a SportPesa Shield third round game.
