Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has named the team that will be up against Tusker in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match scheduled for Wednesday 20 March at the Ruaraka Stadium, making nine changes to the team that started against SS Assad in the SportPesa Shield clash on Saturday.
Of the team that started at the Ukunda Showground, only Enosh Ochieng and Bonventure Muchika keep their places.
James Saruni resumes duty in goal and with Timothy Odhiambo away on national team duty, Jackton Odhiambo, having recovered from a bout of malaria, makes a first appearance of the season, on the bench.
Ezekiel Okare, who scored his second goal of the season in the win over Bandari in the last league outing, will start upfront, and will enlist support on the attacking front from Enosh and Elvis Nandwa.
Churchill, Shambi out
Churchill Muloma is not in the team and Ibrahim Shambi is also away on national team duty. As a consequence, John Kago will be starting in midfield alongside Boniface Okinyi, with Daniel Waweru also returning to add the punch from the flanks.
Muchika will be facing his immediate former employers, Tusker, and he will partner Hassan Mohamed at the heart of defence with Omar Mbongi and Brian Birgen plying the defensinve flanks.
