The Don picks 28 for first leg duty

Coach Dunstan Nyaudo in a pep talk with players at a past training session

Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has named his list of players who will do duty for the team in the first leg of the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) campaign.

In the list of 28, the coach has five new players spread across the departments, with only the goalkeeping department lacking a new face.

Robert Oyuyo is on for a second stint at the team, with the lanky defender, who can also serve in midfield adding up to the experience in the side having played for Ulinzi Stars in 2008 to 2009 before switching to Engineers Brigade’s Silver Stars.

In midfield, the team is beefed up by John Njuguna and Sunday Mwahila while Constantino Lokuwam and Ezekiel Okare make for the new faces in the striking department.

Scouted from the 2018 CDF Cup, Lokuwam adds to The Don’s firepower in attack with Masita Masuta off for military training.

Skipper James Saruni will for another season lead the team, with assistance from Hassan Mohamed while Brian Birgen and Boniface Onyango return after spending the entire second leg in 2018 away on military studies.
