Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo talks to players during a break in a past game against Thika United on Sunday 15th April.
The away matches against Thika United and Sofapaka have been moved to Kinoru Stadium.
Thika United was scheduled to host Ulinzi Stars at Thika Sub County Stadium on Sunday 1st July but has since moved the match to Meru.
Meanwhile, Sofapaka has also been allowed by the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) to move their home match against Ulinzi Stars to Meru. The match, scheduled for Thursday 5th July, was initially scheduled to be played at Kenyatta Stadium, in Machakos.
Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo took the changes well, noting that the team will not be affected in any way.
“It is okay; I hear the Meru pitch is great, just like we like it so it will be a good experience playing two matches there,” he said.
In the first leg, Ulinzi Stars drew 0 – 0 with Thika United at Afraha Stadium then went on a four match winning run that was stopped by Sofapaka in a 1 – 2 loss at Afraha Stadium.
