Benson Sande is among players back in training after missing the Wazito game with illness
The team continued with preparations for the Sunday 27th May game against Sofapaka in the 17th week of matches in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) with the Friday 25th May session coming with a boost as three players previously unavailable joining their mates in training.
Kelvin Amwayi, who has been out since April with a thigh muscle strain is back in training and could be in contention for a place in the team to play Sofapaka.
Sande, Boni back
Defender Benson Sande and midfielder Boniface Onyango who missed the last match as we took on Wazito, are both back after recovering from a bout of malaria that his the team in the trip to Nairobi.
However, The Don will miss the services of defender Cylus Shitote, who is down with malaria.
“Shitote is definitely out,” the coach conceded. “We will however have a boost in the return of Boni, Sande and Amwayi. They have trained well and stand a chance of making it to the squad for the Sunday game,” The Don added.
Ahead of the game at Afraha Stadium, the team has picked four straight wins and is placed second on the log on 28 points, three behind leaders Gor Mahia.
