Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has called on a return to winning ways in the game against Bandari
After a two week – break, the Don will be sending out his charges for the clash against Bandari on Sunday 10th March with clear instruction to go for a win, and after a good week of training, he is convinced three points are within reach.
The clash at the Afraha Stadium comes when the team is on just three wins in the season and being the final game of the first leg, The Don has called for a strong ending to occassion a shift in fortunes going forward.
The team has been boosted by the return of defender Brian Birgen, who missed the Posta Rangers game last time out, while there is no injury to report, with the only unavailable players being Bonventure Muchika and George Omondi, who are back from injury but not fully fit for the game, and Oliver Ruto, who is suspended.
“The team is well rested and we trained well over the week; it is now time for action and we are going into a tough run of matches starting tomorrow, which calls on everyone to give a lot. The best thing at the moment is that we don’t have any new injuries.
“The only players out of the picture are Muchika and George, while Ruto is suspended but Brian is back, which is a big boost. We will give our all and of course we know we are facing a tough side but we will be going for a win,” he said.
The two sides drew in both meetings last year; 1 – 1 at Mbaraki Sports Club then 0 – 0 at Afraha Stadium.
